The Easy Step allows one to step (rather than crawl) into the truck bed, thus reducing strain and the potential of injury from falling. Made with powder-coated steel, the non-skid step is screwed onto and folds against the inside of the tailgate. It is not visible from the exterior when the tailgate is upright, but swings down as a step when the tailgate is lowered.
