Independence Wheelchair
An adult male aboard the chair that’s pulling a small trailer; the gasoline engine is behind the seat, the large drive wheels are toward the front, and a single swivel wheel is in back.

The Independence Wheelchair is a powered chair built for outdoor use. It has an 8-horsepower gasoline engine plus electric motors to operate its hydrostatic transmission, which al lows variable speed control (up to 6 miles per hour) and dynamic braking. Its zero turning radius is controlled by joystick steering. Weighing 600 pounds, it comes equipped with seatbelt, headlight, and armrests that fold down to serve as transfer boards to the seat. It can be used around the farm, in the yard, or even for hunting and fishing because of its heavy-duty construction and versatility.
