The Sure Dump is a dump box designed to slide into the bed of a pickup truck. Two sizes are available—one for smaller trucks, the other for full-size trucks. A durable airbag under the dump box, which utilizes the truck engine's exhaust pressure, can lift and dump a 1,700-2,000 pound load (depending on model size). With a flexible hose running from the exhaust pipe to the airbag, the truck engine is operated for 20-40 seconds to raise the bed to a dump angle of 50-70 degrees. The box, made of steel-reinforced fiberglass and weighing 188-325 pounds (again, depending on model), has a maximum capacity of 57 cubic feet or 143 cubic feet with sideboards. Two trailer models are also available—a single-axle for the smaller dump box and a tandem-axle (with brakes) for the larger box. The trailer models have a 3,000-4,000 pound load capacity.
