Round-Bale Feeder Lifter
The Round-Bale Feeder Lifter that St. Meinrad, IN, farmer Robert Schum developed is boom-mounted to the front of a tractor and latches onto his round-bale feeder. He drives up to the feeder, hooks the boom onto it, lifts it, and places it over the round baleall without having to leave the tractor. The bale to be fed had previously been transported to the feeding site by a three-point-hitch-mounted bale spear.
