Burro Robotic Cart

The Burro Robotic Cart is reportedly able to perform a multitude of tasks that minimize the need for heavy labor, such as carrying, towing, scouting, spraying, and patrolling. (The ability to mow and pick are reportedly coming soon.) It utilizes computer vision, artificial intelligence, and precision GPS to navigate inside buildings as well as outside in the production areas. The 4WD machine consists of motor, drive shaft, battery, user interface, E-stop, control unit, cameras, and a 26- x 48-inch platform that can reportedly carry 500 pounds. The manufacturer claims it has a top speed of 5 mph and can travel 15-20 miles before needed recharge. Having once "followed" a worker, the Burro can reportedly replicate the routine on its own and even share navigation information with other Burros.
