Linear LED Replacement Tubes
Because LEDs generally provide better illumination, require less energy, and last much longer than fluorescent bulbs, there's potential benefit for farmers/ranchers in swapping the existing fluorescents for Linear LED Replacement Tubes that have been designed to fit existing lighting fixtures. Further motivations for doing so include: the dropping price of linear LEDs, the ability to make the changes one fixture at a time, and the possible eventual phase out of T12 ballast technology altogether. The conversion process does require know-how, which the manufacturers' instructions, local electricians, and/or online resources provide.
