Teleskid Skid-Steer Loader
Available in wheeled and tracked models, the zero-turn-radius Teleskid Skid-Steer Loader features a telescopic, single-arm boom that allows reportedly one to extend the bucket forward some 8 feet, upward over 13 feet, and downward 3 feet below ground level. It is designed to lift up to 3,695 pounds with the boom retracted or 1,600 pounds with the boom fully extended; and according to the manufacturer, it has a 33 percent larger-than-average cab, which is accessed via an unobstructed side door; and allows for 60 percent better visibility than twin-arm skid-steers. The machine's 74hp/55kW engine reportedly provides high torque at a low RPM, without the need for a diesel particulate filter or after-treatment.
