The software-driven Feedstuffs Moisture Tracker is a hand-held scanning/sensing device that measures (and saves to a USB stick) the dry matter and moisture content of animal feed components. The readings help the producer to recognize and make any necessary changes that ensure the ration delivered matches the ration calculated. Designed for use with silage, haylage, ground high-moisture corn, brewer's and dried distiller's grains, etc., the device comes with both a 120-volt wall charger and 12-volt DC power charger for increased versatility-a normal charge reportedly providing 2 to 4 hours of continuous usage.
