The Easy Puller Extraction Tool, which comes in its own carrying case, is a specially designed locking pliers with a slide hammer attached to the upper jaw. To remove any stubborn bolt, nail, screw, staple, etc., the tool is clamped onto the exposed end of the object and the hammer manually slid back and forth. With each stroke, the item is being pulled outward until finally extracted. (In essence, the Easy Puller is hammering the fastener out instead of hammering it in.) By removing the slide hammer assembly, the tool can be used as traditional locking pliers.
